AccessIT integrates all the parties in the digital cinema supply chain with management

The company provides three key fully
integrated solutions: management software and services
for distributors (TDS)
and exhibitors (EMS); fully-managed electronic delivery
of movies and other content using satellite or fiber
interchangeably, with pro-active notification to
all parties through the process; and vendor agnostic
in-theatre
application software (TCC) to serve as the single
point of operations and storage for all of the P.O.S.,
projection
systems, and content in a multiplex. Our platform
enables different types of hardware to work together
seamlessly.
In the Summer of 2005, AccessIT in conjunction
with Christie Digital Systems announced a major studio
backed plan to deploy 4,000 DCI-compliant digital
projection
systems throughout the United States by the Fall
of 2007. This plan represents by far the largest
such
deployment in the world. In addition to its major
impact on AccessIT’s performance for years to come,
the plan
is expected to provide a template for the conversion
of all 105,000 screens worldwide.
As the universe
of digitally equipped theaters increases, so does

products for the international marketplace and has
begun

The company was founded in April of 2000 by a management team with an extraordinary
track record of success. After creating a national
network of Internet data centers to serve as a foundation,
the company began to develop the vision for what it
is today: the global leader in providing the motion
picture entertainment industry with all the tools it
requires to transition from film to digital cinema.
Through a series of strategic acquisitions – most notably Hollywood Software,
Boeing Digital Cinema, and FiberSat Global Services
– and proprietary software development, AccessIT has
grown into a major force in enabling studios, equipment
vendors and exhibitors to deal with changes in technology
with minimal impact on work flows.
Once AccessIT rolls out a theatre
with our integrated technology, we will continue to
supply studio and exhibitor with managed delivery services
on a continuous basis. Digital content will be transmitted
from the source (movie studio or other content supplier)
